The Lead Deck is a reflective and practical toolkit for school leadership. Built on the same six principles as the Learning and Praxis Decks, it maps nine leadership profiles that show how different approaches create different kinds of impact.
Each card helps leaders see themselves more clearly – highlighting strengths, surfacing blind spots, and offering prompts to adapt their approach. The Lead Deck gives leadership teams a shared language to talk about leadership without judgement, to align expectations, and to build coherence across the school.
The deck includes reflective inquiry cards, practical strategies, and mindset provocations that support coaching, team development, and professional growth. It is designed for use by senior leaders, middle managers, and aspiring leaders alike.
The Lead Deck doesn’t prescribe what leadership should look like. Instead, it provides a framework to make leadership impact visible, discussable, and intentional.
Leadership Practices are structured around the nine impact profiles, offering ideas and strategies to strengthen leadership skills. These are supported by a set of Inquire Cards, designed to model generative thinking and push beyond the confines of current perspectives.
